Saint Louis’ football season has been over for a few weeks, but the action never ends for some of its standout players.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa received a scholarship offer this week — this third — and this one is from the University of Hawaii, according to Pacific Islands Athletic Alliance.
UCLA was the first to offer the 6-foot-1, 190-pound sophomore. Then came Texas Tech, which operates the four-wide, run-and-shoot under coach Kliff Kingsbury.
The southpaw passed for 2,571 yards and 33 touchdowns with just three interceptions this year. He completed 69.1 percent of his throws (163-for-236), averaged 10.9 yards per attempt and 257.1 passing yards per game. His passer rating is an exceptional 204.18.
Tagovailoa also rushed for 553 yards and seven TDs on 89 carries (6.2 per).
UCLA is also the preferred destination for Saint Louis’ stellar offensive lineman, Fred Ulu-Perry. The senior has already committed to UCLA.
Mckenzie Milton is better!
Sad the home team wasn’t the first to offer.. Being the dirt always stands out. But it probably wouldn’t have made a difference. Only a sophmore and 3 offers already. 2 from big schools.. I can just imagine how many offers he will have by his senior year. Best wishes to him and beat wishes to the home team.

@Fan808 How many offers did Mckenzie get this year?
He’s only good because of the all star running back Malepeai!
texas tech runs the air raid (or a variation of it), not the run and shoot.
Milton is good but Tua is going to be GREAT! Saw them but up close at camps this yr. Tua is a better passer by far while Milton is a good runner. In the end, if Milton doesn’t win state this year then I’m sorry cause it looks like Saint Louis is good for the next 2 titles.
